Digitalization as sphere transgression - part 1
Digital technologies reshape the normative and epistemic landscapes in which practices are embedded. This panel explores how digitalization and AI, as sphere transgressions, unsettle value arrangements across healthcare, education, law, and public administration, generating tensions that existing frameworks and research struggle to capture. Bringing together perspectives from philosophy, STS, law, pedagogy, and empirical research, these contributions investigate how digital systems reconfigure what counts as knowledge, sovereignty, (health)care, education, and the public good, and what conceptual and normative resources are needed or useful to make sense of these transformations.
In this panel are the following presentations:
- Values under algorithmic pressure
- Digital sovereignty – what is it for and what should it be for?
- Whose health data, whose profits? Shaping the infrastructure for secondary use of data in the European Health Data Space
